RP thread: Summer heatwave

Askew felt like she was melting into the carpet of Bella's apartment. It was so hot! She liked summer and all, but the complete lack of rain just made her thirsty all of the time. She rolled over onto her stomach and crawled to where the carpeting met the kitchen tiles and laid her cheek down on the tile's cool surface.

"Ah..." she sighed.

It probably wouldn't seem as hot if she were actually to DO something other than lie around, but that would require the involvment of another person...
